Wavetrac's limited-slip differentials present a novel and patented Torsen differential technology. In normal road and racing use, the Torsen principle has proven successful. However, under extreme conditions (such as aggressive cornering) the following problem arises: as soon as one wheel is completely unloaded, no driving force is transmitted to the other wheel either.
